The People Behind Mille Plateaux

Preserving botanical forms is one way of carrying the memory of a landscape into the future.

Shared belief

At Mille Plateaux, this shared belief brings together people with different skills, experiences and perspectives.

From botanical research and preservation development to engineering, production, business development and operations, each member contributes to a practice shaped by curiosity, care and a commitment to the natural world.

Rooted in Yambaru, Okinawa, we work together to explore what botanical materials can become — and what they can help us remember.
